Via ferrata 1 is also the descent route from Le Rubli. The easy Via ferrata 1 and the medium difficulty Via ferrata 2 run together along the lower part of the southwest ridge and then move into the south-east flank. After a slab, they separate: the path 1, which is mainly used in the descent, climbs through the rather grassy south-east flank directly to the main summit of the Rubli (2285 m) to the summit cross and book.
