Via ferrata 2 climbs the southwest ridge of the Rubli (Rüeblihorn) above Rougemont, one of three iron ways on this limestone peak between Saanenland and Pays d'Enhaut. Established by mountain guide Kobi Reichen in 2002, it is rated K3 and covers 380 m of route length with 160 m of height gain, taking about an hour. The line follows exposed rock, including a steep chimney section and airy traversing ground, before reaching the west and main summits.

From La Videmanette, walk to the saddle at point 2121, where the starts of Via ferrata 1 and Via ferrata 2 are located together.
The route climbs the southwest ridge of the Rubli to the west summit, then continues along the ridge on a path to the main summit. Along the way it passes a steep chimney-like section and an airy ridge traverse before easing off near the top.
Descend via Via ferrata 1, starting close to the summit cross; from the exit of route 2, head toward the cross where the descent path branches off to the right. This descent takes about half an hour.
